During the production of the movie "AlluriSeetaRamaRaju", in 1974, the director of the movie Sri Late Ramachandra Rao got sick and our SuperStar himself had to direct some scenes. When journalists asked Krishna during the production of "Simhasanam" (his first as a director) whether this would be his 2nd movie as director he politely refused and gave all the credit for the Success of the movie "AlluriSeetaRamaRaju" to Late Ramachandra Rao.
