Mr Reddy presented the two Lifetime Achievement trophies, the recipients -- Ghattamaneni Krishna and Sarada -- receiving a spontaneous standing ovation. Krishna started his acting career in 1963 and went on to portray the hero in an astonishing 308 films. He is not only an evergreen actor but also a director, producer and script writer. In 1983, he established the Padmalaya studio, giving a fillip to Telugu cinema. He has produced films in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam as well. He was elected member of the Lok Sabha in '89.
